A lash lift is basically a perm for your lashes that can last 4 -6 weeks depending on your lash cycle. The way we get the perfect lash lift is by using a special chemical cream formula made only for the eye area, this creme gives your natural lashes a curl or “lift”. Everyone has a different length of natural lashes, to get the most drama and ummph from the process it’s recommended that you have at least 4 mm of natural lashes.
If you’re thinking about getting an eyelash lift there are a few things you need to do before you come to your appointment. We recommend that you not wear any eye makeup like mascara or eye-shadow on the day leading up to your appointment. It’s also a good idea to shampoo your natural lashes with our special lash shampoo before your visit, but don’t worry we will also deep clean your lashes .
What is eyelash perm?
The process of getting a lash perm is very straightforward. At Beauty Time we always start every service with a consultation. Your lash tech will explain to you the entire process before we begin , they’ll ask about the style you want, is it a tight curl or do you want just a little lift. After you’ve chosen your curl style you can lay back and relax while we work our magic. First we use a curling rod that is specific to your style , we then comb and separate your lashes and apply our creme formula to the rod. After a while we apply a setting lotion and then finally we apply a moisturizer to your lashes . The whole process takes about 45 minutes start to finish.

How Long does a lash lift last?
Eyelash lifts can last up to 4-6 weeks with proper care. Moisturizing your natural lashes is important. We recommend using our lash serum everyday and brushing with a spoolie to stimulate the roots and keep your natural lashes healthy.
How long after a lash can I shower?
It’s important to keep your lashes dry for the first 2 hours after getting a lift. Just as with lash extensions is best to not expose your lash lift to excessive steam, sweating or water. We don;t recommend that you go swimming for 24 hours after your lash lift.
Can you wear mascara after a Lash Lift?
Lifting your lashes will give you a more dramatic curl, but it won’t create volume or darken the color of your lashes . After the initial 24 hours you can use mascara but we highly recommend that you avoid waterproof formulas because you will need a remover that contains oil and just in the case of lash extensions, oil can break down the formula used on your lift and the curl won’t last as long. How Often Can You Get a Lash Lift?
Eyelash lifting is a perm for your lashes so just like a treatment on your hair it ‘grows out’. It’s recommended that you get a re-lift every 4 to 5 weeks depending on your lash cycle .
